Risen Savior Lutheran School started operation in the 2007-2008 school year.  It is a Kindergarten through 8th Grade school. The school builds off of a long-standing tradition of quality Christian education for the Mankato area.

Risen Savior is supported by St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mankato and St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in North Mankato.  St. Mark operated St. Mark Lutheran School for thirty years, and St. Paul's has operated the Jesus Loves Me Learning Center.

The Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) has a long tradition of providing quality Christian education and Risen Savior will continue in this tradition.  The teachers of Risen Savior have been trained at Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN.

In 2013 Risen Savior added 4 classrooms and all classes are on one campus for the 2013-2014 school year.
