Mission Projects 2012-2013
WELS European Chaplain Services & Hmong Home Missions
The mission projects chosen for this school year are the WELS European Chaplain Services and the Hmong Home Missions.  These two mission projects offer an interesting twist on mission work.  The European Chaplain Service offers spiritual nurturing to WELS members (home) living in Europe (abroad) and the Hmong Home Mission reaches out to Hmong immigrants (abroad) living in America (home).  Over the course of this school year, we will learn more about how our synod is spreading the story of Jesus’ love at home and abroad to people of every culture. May God use our offerings to bless the work of these two projects.

Risen Savior is supported by St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mankato and St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in North Mankato.  St. Mark operated St. Mark Lutheran School for thirty years, and St. Paul's has operated the Jesus Loves Me Learning Center for seventeen years.
